Position Summary:
The Parking Garage Cashier is entrusted with a range of essential responsibilities within the facility. This role entails managing cash transactions, directing parking traffic, performing general cleaning tasks, and delivering outstanding customer service to both daily and monthly patrons of the parking garage.

Pay: $13.50 per hour, paid semi-monthly
Shift: Part-time, including weekends
Essential Functions:
– Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues through respectful communication; escalate information to the Operations Manager as necessary.
– Deliver quick and responsive customer service.
– Adhere to company procedures and comply with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets.
– Match visitor tickets to the parking rate schedule, collect the appropriate payment, and provide accurate change.
– Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be found.
– Conduct shift and daily reconciliations of receipts, cash, and charges; ensure accurate accounting of all funds within the cashier drawer.
– Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment in and around the cashier booth.
– Answer phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
– Direct traffic inside and outside of the parking garage as a flagger.
– Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Qualifications:
– A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
– Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
