Reports to: Facilities Coordinator

Description:
The role involves performing custodial tasks and operating various types of cleaning equipment. Responsibilities include communication and support to the department, as well as executing additional work-related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
– Authorities for the employee are granted through established work instructions, policies and procedures, and/or guidance from management to fulfill customer requirements.
– Execute custodial duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment, as well as washing windows and walls.
– Vacuum and perform spot cleaning on carpeted areas and rugs.
– Regularly empty and clean waste receptacles.
– Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in break rooms and restrooms.
– Care for plants and flowers, ensuring adequate watering and fertilization.
– Inform supervision of areas needing repair and recommend appropriate correction methods.
– Ensure that established quality and quantity standards of work assigned are met, while adhering to safe work practices.
– Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
