Job Summary:
This position is part-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Warmly greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.
– Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
– Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and addressing a variety of inquiries.
– Checking identification and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours for prospective members.
– Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
– Promptly responding to member questions and concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
– Contributing to maintaining the club’s cleanliness and orderliness.
– Monitoring safety and cleanliness throughout the club.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Restocking locker rooms with essential supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by turning in found member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Preferred background in customer service.
– Basic proficiency in computer usage.
– A genuine passion for fitness and health.
– Consistently upbeat and positive demeanor.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
– Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding member expectations.

– High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

– Required to dilute and clean using chemicals during the shift.
– Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and commonly used surfaces within the club.
