What You Will Do
As a Fulfillment Associate at Lowe’s, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the store environment is clean, safe, and well-stocked with essential products. Your responsibilities will include:
– Demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor, promptly addressing the needs of customers and fellow associates.
– Verifying that merchandise is in optimal condition, accurately accounted for, and delivered to our customers in a timely manner.
– Safely pulling merchandise for loading onto delivery trucks and assisting customers and staff in moving products securely.

In this position, you will assist customers, delivery team members, and Installation PROviders by efficiently pulling and preparing orders for pick-up, restocking shelves for future customers, and loading merchandise into vehicles. To effectively meet customer needs, you will engage in conversations with associates to ensure accurate product deliveries. You will also guarantee that the right products are distributed to customers by meticulously pulling, inspecting, and preparing merchandise for delivery or pick-up, along with verifying invoices against loaded items. Furthermore, you will ensure that deliveries are ready upon the arrival of the truck and assist in loading merchandise, including large appliances. Safety is of utmost importance, as you will frequently lift and move merchandise for both staff and customers throughout your shift. Fulfillment Associates assigned to the Pro Department are required to obtain certification for using Power Equipment (PE), including forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric lifts, within 30 days of their start date.

Travel Requirements: This role does not typically involve regular travel; however, occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or to assist neighboring stores.

What We’re Looking For
– Hourly Full-Time or Part-Time: Schedules typically consist of 39 to 40 hours per week or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; additional hours may be necessary based on store demands.
– Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week.
– Physical capability to perform tasks that may include prolonged standing, sitting, and other related activities.
– Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance; the capacity to lift over 25 pounds with or without support may also be required.

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications
– Proficiency in reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
– At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including entering, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
– A minimum of 6 months’ experience utilizing common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
– Capability to obtain any necessary sales-related licensure or registration as mandated by law.

Preferred Qualifications
– 6 months of experience in retail.
– 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment role within a home improvement or hardware retail environment, particularly in departments such as kitchen, plumbing, electrical, or lawn and garden.
– 6 months of experience in any sector involving the inspection, carrying, loading, and unloading of products or materials.
