Assisted Self Checkout
– Effectively monitors and identifies customers in need of assistance at multiple self-checkout registers concurrently.
– Proactively approaches customers to recommend products and services based on their needs.
– Engages with multiple customers across various registers simultaneously, providing assistance as needed.
– Moves through the checkout area performing tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and organizing products to ensure seamless transaction completion.
– Exceeds customer expectations by expressing gratitude for their business and encouraging future visits to Lowe’s.

Customer Service
– Upholds exceptional customer service standards through the diligent application of Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs.
– Proactively connects with customers to discern their needs, assisting them in product location, demonstration, selection, carrying, and loading.
– Responds to inquiries from customers and employees promptly, providing knowledgeable guidance and facilitating project overviews when necessary.
– Demonstrates genuine appreciation for customers.
– Communicates comprehensive information regarding stock availability, special orders, product features, applications, and warranty details associated with Lowe’s offerings.
– Mentors, develops, and trains associates on departmental responsibilities and sales opportunities.

– Reviews and organizes online orders and returned merchandise in designated areas.
– Conducts price verifications by comparing product information and competitor pricing.
– Records items utilized in the store on the store use lists.

Clean and Safe Stores
– Retrieves safety bags from the cash office and monitors cash levels in drawers to maintain compliance with company requirements.
– Observes merchandise entering and exiting store premises and assists customers or associates triggering alarms.
– Identifies potential signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security concerns, promptly reporting them to management and/or Asset Protection.
– Ensures adherence to housekeeping standards and programs, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of both store and work areas.
– Promotes a safe work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, identifying hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.
– Complies with all safety requirements relevant to assigned duties, including adhering to safety protocols and utilizing safety devices.
– Operates necessary store equipment according to the specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance systems, etc.).

General
– In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, the individual in this role is accountable for performing other assigned duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
– Less than 1 year of experience utilizing a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
– Less than 1 year of experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
– 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier.
– Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferences:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– 1 to 2 years of experience in identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, protection plans, and explanation of warranties and product benefits.
– 1 to 2 years of experience serving as a head cashier.
– 1 to 2 years of experience working in any department within a Lowe’s retail store.
– 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
– Less than a year of retail experience in identifying common signs of shoplifting (e.g., merchandise concealed within containers, products hidden under carts, switched price labels).
