Our facility boasts an 81-room lodge, 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant and lounge, along with banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 200 guests. Responsibilities:
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of food served, adhering to established production procedures.
- Assess the quantity and types of food and supplies needed using production systems.
- Familiarize yourself with menus, recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
- Adhere to established sanitation, personal hygiene, and health standards.
- Accurately prepare all food items following standard recipes and specialized diet orders.
- Plan food production to align with meal serving hours, ensuring superior quality, temperature, and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times, including cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Prepare food in advance for the next shift and following day as necessary.
- Collaborate with servers to ensure guest satisfaction, addressing any food service complaints as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- A minimum of one year of cooking experience in a restaurant or full-service hotel required.
- Culinary school degree (2-4 years) preferred.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business requirements.
