Job description:

Fox Motors is seeking a Part-Time Lot Attendant/Porter for our location in Comstock Park, MI, specifically at Fox GMC. As a Lot Attendant/Porter, you will be an integral team player supporting the sales department, ensuring its success. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and refurbishing vehicles in accordance with both Fox Motors and manufacturer specifications, preparing vehicles for dealership and customer delivery, and assisting with the overall presentation of both vehicles and the dealership itself. Key responsibilities encompass the following, with the possibility of additional tasks being assigned:

  • Wash and wax vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
  • Vacuum the interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and devices.
  • Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
  • Apply tire dressing on tires and tire wells.
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues.
  • Remove window stickers from sold vehicles.
  • Ensure that the "Fox" emblem is properly positioned on every vehicle.

Skills & Experience:
