Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated part-time School Custodian to ensure a clean and safe environment within our facilities. The role involves working closely with staff and students, upholding the school’s high cleanliness standards. Position Details:

  • Role: Part-Time School Custodian
  • Pay Rate: $14 per hour
  • Working Hours: 3 days per week (shifts available from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, or 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Utilize protective gear during all cleaning operations.
  • Complete cleaning assignments efficiently and on schedule.
  • Communicate equipment needs or issues with cleaning products to supervisors.
  • Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and communal spaces.
  • Sanitize and maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, classrooms, and shared areas.
  • Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and complete related tasks as assigned.
  • Respond promptly to alerts from the paging system and fulfill customer requests.
  • Implement infection control measures and follow universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Willingness to consistently perform routine tasks.
  • Capability to complete all assigned responsibilities independently post-training.
  • Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
  • Capacity to lift, carry, and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in the presence of food and cleaning products.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by state, local, and customer requirements.
