Job description:
This position is tasked with delivering exceptional service and support to guests by bagging groceries and providing carry-out assistance to their vehicles. Additional responsibilities include retrieving shopping carts from the parking area, performing bottle-related tasks, and carrying out janitorial duties as needed. The role is vital to ensuring that each shift aligns with the financial best interests of the store while completing all other assigned tasks promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

– Utilize proper bagging supplies and techniques when handling guests’ purchases.
– Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines, and maintain the cleanliness of the bottle return area.
– Collect, organize, and return shopping carts, and assist customers by loading groceries into their vehicles.
– Maintain familiarity with the store’s product locations and handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
– Keep the department clean, attractive, and well-stocked.
– Work independently and perform cleaning duties and other assigned tasks promptly.
– Adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines, as well as food safety and cleaning expectations.
– Follow guest experience guidelines to enhance customer satisfaction.
– Be open to task assignments in other departments based on customer experience needs.
– Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or GED preferred.
– Strong verbal communication skills.
– Ability to engage politely and effectively with customers.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role require the associate to meet certain physical capabilities essential for job performance.
