Job description:
Enhance the customer shopping experience at ALDI in a collaborative team environment as a Cashier or Stocker. In this role, you will be actively involved in operating registers, managing various machinery, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.00 | Year 3 – $18.50 | Year 4 – $18.50 | Year 5 – $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates must be able to perform assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general issues.
- Participate in conducting store inventory counts in accordance with guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves and properly rotate products to ensure fresh availability for customers.
- Follow merchandising planograms to create well-organized displays.
- Organize new inventory and manage the disposal of empty boxes.
- Operate machinery while adhering to all safety procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate throughout the store.
- Stockers must be able to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelving and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights.
