Job description:

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and ensure merchandise displays are neatly stocked.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs.
  • Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and rotate products effectively to ensure fresh products are available for customers.
  • Follow merchandising planograms to create well-presented merchandise displays.
  • Organize new inventory and remove and break down empty boxes.
  • Operate machinery while adhering to all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
  • Stockers must be able to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
