Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.00 | Year 3 – $18.50 | Year 4 – $18.50 | Year 5 – $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with team members and communicate pertinent information to the direct leader.

Cashier Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and efficiently stock shelves and merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Provide management with feedback regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts in accordance with company guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Properly stock shelves and rotate products to ensure customers have access to fresh inventory.
- Implement merchandising planograms to create visually appealing displays.
- Organize incoming inventory and manage the disposal of empty boxes.
- Operate machinery safely and consistently follow all safety protocols.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate throughout the store.
- For Stockers: Ability to stock merchandise from the receiving area to shelving; capable of placing products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
