What You Will Do:

  • Process a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments, while ensuring accurate transaction balancing.
  • Manage a teller drawer to assist customers and bank personnel in both lobby and drive-up settings.
  • Identify potential cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to the appropriate bank personnel.
  • Cultivate the skills necessary to detect potential fraud, reporting concerns to management as needed, and adhere to all departmental, banking, and regulatory policies and procedures, while upholding Wintrust’s culture.
  • May take responsibility for opening or closing the bank and may participate in community events as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to travel between branches as necessary.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including Saturdays.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
