Job description:

As a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Cincinnati, you will play a vital role in ensuring that each patient has an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will encompass both patient interaction and essential business operations, highlighting the significant influence you can have on the overall care experience, even before patients leave the waiting room.

In this full-time position, your primary duties will include:

• Greeting and registering patients, providing them with information regarding what to expect during their visit, and offering details about their subsequent appointments during check-out.
• Scheduling patient appointments, both in-person and via telephone.
• Maintaining regular communication with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, and our business development team.
• Collecting copayments, managing payer approvals, and performing insurance authorizations and verifications as needed.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

Minimum Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of front desk experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
