Job description:
As a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Westlake, OH, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that patients receive an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will encompass both the patient-facing and operational aspects of our center, making your contributions vital to enhancing each patient’s care journey, even before they exit the waiting room.

In this full-time position, you will work weekdays, with one evening shift until 7 PM, and compensation will begin at $15 per hour, contingent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Greet and register patients, providing them with information regarding their visit and details about their subsequent appointments upon check-out.
– Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
– Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
– Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
– High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:
– Experience in insurance verification.
– A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office environment.
