Job description:

Pratt & Whitney is dedicated to pioneering the future of flight by designing, manufacturing, and servicing revolutionary engines. In line with this transformative vision, we invite innovative thinkers to join our team. We foster an environment where your skills can soar beyond traditional boundaries, and where your passion and dedication are valued within a collaborative community that is committed to our mission. At Pratt & Whitney, the impact of your contributions is evident every day—are you prepared to take your career to new heights?

What You Will Do:
You will serve as a crucial liaison for our customers, facilitating regular communication to strengthen relationships and manage customer satisfaction, thereby minimizing escalations and enhancing the overall health of allocated customer accounts in the area of New Spares and Repairs.

Your role will include overseeing and mentoring Frontline Customer Support Representative (CSR) teams to strengthen community ties and boost productivity while enriching the customer experience. As the first point of escalation for our customers, you will resolve both internal and external issues that require timely attention.

You will actively resolve shortage challenges by considering all available options, ensuring the customer’s perspective is prioritized in all discussions and decisions. Additionally, you will manage Customer Open Order Reports and other specific internal accounts—such as Return Material Authorizations and Warranty matters—by collaborating proactively with Frontline CSRs to eliminate obstacles efficiently.

Achieving a comprehensive understanding of customers’ requirements, you will convey vital contractual details and discount structures, while providing accurate sales forecasts to both management and the Inventory & Planning Team.

You will establish and validate key performance indicators to drive process enhancements that improve the overall customer experience while expanding your knowledge of parts, engine models, aircraft, and fleets. Additional responsibilities will include miscellaneous duties as directed, as well as travel as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
You will act as the principal contact for PW800 customers, OEMs, and programs, addressing third-level escalations and spearheading efforts to identify and implement improvements in PW800 aftermarket customer service, leveraging industry networks and knowledge.

Utilizing your expertise, you will reference technical manuals and publications to provide viable solutions to daily operational challenges. Your understanding of long-range engine shop forecasts will enable you to break down engine events into applicable part numbers and manage repairable inventory efficiently.

Serving as a catalyst for seamless communication between MRO shops and inventory/planning teams, you will adjust inventory recipes and manage repair workflows to align with parts demand. As the primary contact for the PW800 Program, you will assist with inquiries related to PWCS while collaborating with the Business Segment Manager, Global Sales & Customer Service Manager, and PWCS Delivery Assurance Representative to meet agreed-upon performance metrics.

You will support commercial and contract managers in both new and existing agreements while exercising independent judgment to drive sound business decisions that achieve targeted financial outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include managing PW800 pricing disputes and maintaining the associated billing matrix, as well as producing weekly sales forecasts as required.

What You Will Learn:
You will gain insights into the structure of PWC Programs and how intercompany collaboration contributes to program success. You will also learn about PWCS’s role in ensuring timely aftermarket support and fulfilling service level performance indicators. Additionally, you will develop strategic sales plans aimed at maximizing inventory turnover and revenue generation.

Qualifications You Must Have:
To be considered for this position, you must possess a University Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least three years of experience. Alternatively, candidates without a degree must have a minimum of nine years of relevant experience. U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $164,000, reflective of varying experience levels. RTX evaluates multiple factors when extending offers, including role responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. Benefits may vary by business unit and whether the position falls under a collective-bargaining agreement.

Eligible applicants may also be considered for annual incentive compensation programs, dependent on individual and business unit performance. This is a U.S.-based position, and any successful candidate in a U.S. territory will receive appropriate pay structure and benefits.
