In your role as an Orkin Pro, you will:

– Complete our comprehensive training program to acquire the essential skills and knowledge needed to serve our customers effectively.
– Uphold safety as a top priority in every aspect of your responsibilities.
– Adhere to a predetermined route schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring punctual and safe service to each customer.
– Operate a company vehicle responsibly, maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
– Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
– Act as a problem solver, demonstrating empathy by actively listening to customer needs and utilizing your Orkin expertise to recommend effective treatments.
– Meet customers in their homes or businesses to articulate the actions taken, gauge satisfaction, and discuss additional services that may enhance their pest management experience.
– Inspect both the interior and exterior of customer properties, with comprehensive training provided to ensure competence.
– Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the services rendered and proposed additional solutions.
– Accurately complete all necessary service-related documentation using a provided handheld device.

Minimum qualifications include:

– No prior experience required; we will provide extensive training to prepare you.
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– A valid driver’s license.
– The ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-sponsored).
– The capacity to work independently within the field, manage route-based assignments, and engage with customers in their homes and businesses.

Candidates must also meet certain physical job requirements and perform related duties safely, with or without accommodations:

– Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight limit.
– Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
