Job description:
Provides comprehensive patient care to members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, counseling members on their health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidentiality concerning sensitive information, controlled medications, and required documentation.

Drives sales and profitability in the Pharmacy and OTC departments by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, which encompasses accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, optimal stock levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing and maintaining cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics.

Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to associates on proper member service approaches and techniques to ensure that member needs, complaints, and issues are resolved effectively, in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

Oversees the implementation of community outreach programs and actively encourages associates to engage positively with their communities.

Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations within assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing operational and quality assurance reviews, and guiding the execution of company programs and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, or an equivalent Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certification from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). A pharmacy license must be obtained by the job entry date. Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (such as those offered by APhA, a Pharmacy School Curriculum, or a State Pharmacy Association).

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pharmacy practice.
