Job description:

As a Pharmacy Technician in the fulfillment area, you will be responsible for operating automated packaging and dispensing equipment. You will have the opportunity to work in various sections, including packaging, Paxit, and bulk fulfillment. Your primary duties will involve ensuring that the automated packing equipment is filled with the appropriate medications, fulfilling bulk prescriptions, and staging all finished items for shipment to our customers. Furthermore, you will assist in preparing packages for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate automated packaging and dispensing equipment.
• Ensure that the automated packing equipment is filled with the correct medications.
• Fulfill bulk prescriptions as required.
• Stage all finished items for timely shipment to customers.
• Assist in the preparation of packages for distribution.
• Process medications received from suppliers.
• Place medications into automated machines for individual packaging and labeling.
• Maintain stock levels of medications.
• Identify and resolve issues with automated equipment.
• Package finished prescriptions in plastic totes ready for delivery.
• Organize totes based on the facility’s location and time of day.
• Package non-pill prescriptions, including creams, ointments, inhalers, and eye drops, using printed orders.
• Replenish supplies throughout the pharmacy.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in data entry.
• Experience in filling prescriptions.
• Skilled in labeling and fulfillment tasks.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations.
• Possession of a Registered Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Retail pharmacy experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Work Environment:
This position operates during the third shift, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You will be required to work one weekend every other week, with one weekday off when you work a weekend. Additionally, you will be expected to work every other holiday, averaging three holidays per year. The dress code requires scrubs or business casual attire along with comfortable, clean tennis shoes; T-shirts, leggings, and similar attire are not permitted. Supervisors and fellow fulfillment employees will be present during this shift. The facility is meticulously clean and organized, featuring a front desk, an office area for order entry and pharmacists, and an operations floor equipped with automated equipment and shelving for replenishment. Orders will be displayed on computer screens as they are processed. The facility also includes an IV room and a break room where coffee, water, and snacks are available for purchase.

Pay and Benefits:
