Responsibilities include:

– Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations while reporting any illegal activities, such as robbery, theft, or fraud.
– Complying with and enforcing food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations as per company and health code standards; identifying unsafe conditions and notifying store management.
– Executing ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers effectively.
– Following company guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
– Maintaining departmental standards by keeping workstations and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
– Counting, measuring, and preparing specified products in accordance with company best practices.
– Completing billing procedures accurately to ensure optimal value for both the customer and the company.
– Managing incoming phone calls, triaging inquiries, and providing appropriate responses.
– Understanding and adhering to guidelines regarding vendor coupons, cash shortages, and company shrink policies.
– Operating the cash register in compliance with company policies, including processing electronic fund transactions such as credit/debit cards, EBT, gift cards, cash, and checks.
– Delivering an outstanding customer experience while efficiently and accurately handling all aspects of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
– Assisting the pharmacist with responsibilities excluding those requiring a professional judgment.
– Understanding and adhering to HIPAA regulations and the company’s related policies.
– Supporting company health and wellness initiatives.
– Storing legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries, appropriately.
– Working collaboratively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
– Managing conflicts in a calm, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner.
– Acting with integrity and honesty concerning customer and business information.
– Following directions and seeking guidance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
– Providing support and assistance through direct interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
– Performing the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum qualifications include:

– A High School Diploma or GED.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
– Compliance with minimum state requirements for the role.

Desired qualifications include:

– Prior comparable experience.
– Experience as a pharmacy clerk or similar role.
– Familiarity with EPRN systems.
