We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with various functions within the Genoa mental health Pharmacy. This role primarily involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule:

  • Mondays: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST
  • Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • No nights or weekends

Location:

  • 9327 Telegraph Rd. Redford, MI 48239, within Lincoln Behavioral Services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff members.
  • Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the registered pharmacist’s supervision.
  • Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies efficiently.
  • Process wholesaler medication orders accurately.
  • Verify medication stock levels and maintain inventory records through data entry.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure pharmacy functions comply with all federal and state regulations.
  • Undertake various clerical duties as required by the department.
  • Communicate effectively using strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan.
  • Reliable transportation access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry.
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for errands, including trips to the post office, if necessary.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour, based on full-time employment.
