Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates training programs tailored to each client to ensure they achieve their goals and remain motivated to progress.
  • Conduct initial complimentary assessments and goal-setting sessions with clients to recommend suitable Pilates training programs.
  • Instruct private, duet, and semi-private sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to build your clientele from our member base and foster your success.
  • Fulfill all administrative responsibilities associated with client management.
  • Work alongside other departments to ensure a well-rounded experience for all members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Equinox members and guests.
  • Maintain consistent and frequent client engagement to support their achievement of results and goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the studio and equipment.
  • Build your business with the flexibility of working between 10 to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus, including mat, reformer, Cadillac/trapeze, Wunda chair, high or combo chair, and barrels.
  • A minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education must be fulfilled through an accredited Pilates certification program.
  • Candidates must provide a valid copy of their Pilates certification(s).

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Capability to push, pull, and safely spot and correct clients during sessions.
