Job Title: PILOT: Small Engine Technician

Company: Blain’s Farm & Fleet

Location: Walker, MI

Pay: $19.75 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $19.75 for a Small Engine Technician in Walker, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the competitive spectrum. According to various sources, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics and industry research, Small Engine Technicians typically earn between $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and the specific employer. The market in Michigan may have variations based on demand and the cost of living in the area, but this rate may not fully reflect the skills and specialized knowledge required for the role, potentially leading to challenges in attracting qualified candidates. Overall, while it may be a starting wage for entry-level positions, it could be less appealing for more experienced technicians.
