Job description:
The Club Manager will oversee all aspects of gym operations, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” experience for members while driving the financial success of the club. This role is pivotal in leading a team of employees in a positive and motivating environment, with a strong emphasis on ongoing training and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

– Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff comprising Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
– Establishing and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, potential members, and guests, while ensuring all staff adhere to superior customer service standards.
– Managing staff scheduling to ensure coverage for all shifts.
– Leading by example and maintaining accountability for direct reports through training and coaching, ensuring alignment with PF’s values and goals.
– Administering and processing weekly and bi-weekly employee payroll.
– Addressing and resolving employee concerns or issues.
– Managing disciplinary actions and termination processes as needed.
– Engaging in front desk activities, including:
– Answering phones in a courteous manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking members into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting tours for prospective members.
– Addressing all member requests, issues, and inquiries.
– Ensuring prompt opening and closing of the gym.
– Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, taking responsibility for the largest portion of daily cleaning tasks.
– Prioritizing the safety of employees, members, and club property.
– Identifying and communicating equipment repair needs in a timely manner.
– Managing marketing efforts by ensuring staff are informed and trained on all promotional activities.
– Authorizing expenditures and processing refunds, as well as handling daily bank deposits.
– Preparing all HR-related documentation and submitting it to the Corporate Payroll Team.
