We are excited to announce an opening for a Planner/Scheduler Superintendent at our Toledo, OH office. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage construction schedules based on insights from the project team and contractor estimates.
- Load and oversee resources within the scheduling framework.
- Analyze schedules to ensure correct application of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports, maintaining data integrity.
- Conduct quality assurance and control on contractors’ schedule submissions to verify alignment with contract scope and terms.
- Assess critical and near-critical path activity sequences.
- Identify and communicate schedule changes and trends effectively.
- Ensure all activity links are logically driven and consistent with project deliverables, the Project Execution Plan (PEP), Contracting Strategy, and Workforce Planning.
- Update schedule progress according to established processes and procedures.
- Participate in Interactive Planning and Construction Lean Planning Sessions.
- Closely monitor schedule performance against key performance indicators and report deviations as necessary.
- Maintain schedule integrity by reviewing logic and float to ensure ongoing accuracy.
- Prepare and present periodic schedule progress reports, trending charts, and analyses, as well as lead progress communication and update meetings.
- Conduct schedule analyses and report findings, including critical paths, longest paths, milestone deviations, and slippage evaluations; assist in the development of recovery plans.
- Support the creation of project schedule documentation, including the "Basis of Schedule" and "Schedule Management Plan."
- Facilitate schedule and cost integration, producing a unified source of truth for schedule-related data within cost management scopes of work.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, making a significant impact within a data-driven organization.
- Conduct field visits as necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Create and monitor construction reports for clients.
- Provide supervision and direction to team members and contractor forces involved in specific assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction and schedule management, or up to 12 years of experience in a related environment.
- Proficient in CPM scheduling concepts and tools, particularly Primavera P6.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Apps, and digital tools such as Power BI.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas sector or a similar industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with stage-gated project execution processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated excellence in decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
