Job description:

The PLM Solution Development Manager for the Digital Transformation (DT) program is tasked with the comprehensive management of solution development, primarily utilizing the 3DExperience platform from Dassault Systems, and ensuring the delivery of PLM systems to the business organization. This role involves leading the DT program by collaborating with KLA business groups, overseeing direct report PLM team members, and coordinating with IT vendors. The manager will direct both technical and non-technical teams on a daily basis to ensure successful program execution from inception to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-site team of 4-8 architects, technical project managers, and business process analysts in program execution.
  • Allocate work among team members by consulting with project managers on resource assignments to various projects.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review ongoing assignments, providing direction and guidance as necessary.
  • Evaluate team member performance and establish yearly performance goals for each individual.
  • Perform routine managerial tasks including administrative approvals and personnel matters.
  • Recruit, motivate, and cultivate talent within the team to drive execution excellence and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Plan talent development within the team to address future IT application needs and skill set requirements.
  • Prepare internal project proposals, annual strategic plans, and budget forecasts.
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships with peer groups within IT to foster collaboration and secure support for project execution.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging them to drive programs and holding vendors accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Capture investment business cases, develop high-level approaches, and create justifications for stakeholders to obtain buy-in.
  • Actively manage program risks related to budget, resources, quality, and delivery timelines, while developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Review solution designs, project plans, and key presentations for accuracy and completeness prior to stakeholder review.
  • Ensure project phase gate presentations are thorough and complete before seeking business sign-off.
  • Own and execute proof-of-concept initiatives, workshops, software product evaluations, and implementation projects.
  • Develop new playbooks, best-known methods, and methodologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for work method improvements and drive them from inception to completion by coordinating necessary resources.
  • Resolve issues effectively by facilitating coordination between business stakeholders and extended groups during crisis scenarios.
  • Participate in Dassault conferences periodically to stay informed about current and future offerings from Dassault and partner OEMs/ISVs.
  • Willingness to travel for training, project planning meetings, and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a team of 4-8 direct reports.
  • Ability to create tailored presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups at various organizational levels.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience with the Enovia 3DExperience platform is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of development and configuration experience with the Enovia 3DExperience platform is essential.
  • Functional expertise in 3DExperience Engineering Central, MBOM modules, SAP Integration, and Change Management is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the Delmia product portfolio from Dassault is advantageous.
  • Experience in solution development with tools like Power BI, Snowflake, etc., is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of ERP, CRM, SRM, and MES systems is also advantageous.
