As a Line Cook, your responsibilities will include preparing a diverse array of hot and cold food items, such as salads, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. You will be involved in portioning, washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes. Additionally, you will carve and slice meats and cheeses, measure and combine ingredients, and create dressings and sauces according to established recipes.

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

– Arriving for work punctually as per the schedule, ensuring that the uniform meets restaurant standards and is maintained in a clean state. Practicing exemplary personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout all shifts.
– Preparing all food items in accordance with company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards, ensuring a superior dining experience for our guests.
– Displaying proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation, including personal hygiene, handwashing, use of gloves, and knife skills.
– Being aware of emergency procedures within the restaurant.
– Maintaining the highest levels of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety in the work area, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving.
– Completing all job duties while adhering strictly to safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift, and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions, acts, accidents, or injuries.
