Job Description
Job Title: Police Cadet
Company: City of Auburn Hills
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $17 for a Police Cadet in Auburn Hills, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the pay scale for such positions. Law enforcement cadet wages can vary widely, with many municipalities offering rates ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, particularly for candidates with prior experience or education in criminal justice. Additionally, factors such as the cost of living and local government budget constraints can influence these rates. Therefore, while $17 may be a starting point or reflective of entry-level positions, it could be viewed as uncompetitive compared to regional standards and may impact recruitment and retention of candidates in a competitive job market.
