Fox Motors is seeking a Porter to join our team at Jaguar Novi in Novi, MI. In this role, you will play an integral part in our overarching vision of “Working together moving people throughout life,” by upholding the highest standards of vehicle presentation and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
The Porter is a collaborative team member who supports the sales department to ensure its overall success. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and refurbishing vehicles according to Fox Motors and manufacturer specifications, preparing vehicles for dealership and customer delivery, and enhancing the overall presentation of both vehicles and the dealership. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Washing and waxing vehicle exteriors, cleaning interior and exterior windows, and wiping down doorjambs.
  • Vacuuming vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices.
  • Steam-cleaning engines and engine compartments or using various cleaning agents.
  • Applying dressing to tires and tire wells.
  • Inspecting vehicles for noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues.
  • Removing window stickers from sold vehicles.
  • Ensuring the "Fox" emblem is correctly positioned on every vehicle.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
