Job description:
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, is currently seeking a Power House Operations Craftsperson.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and identifying potential safety issues for prompt resolution. This role requires collaboration and independence, as the individual will need to work effectively within a team environment as well as execute tasks independently when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

– Exhibiting proficient written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear and effective interactions with team members and other departments, including production, process engineering, and quality control.
– Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) task instructions.
– Communicating with production teams before commencing and upon completing jobs.
– Performing routine tasks as scheduled and troubleshooting equipment and systems when required, with an emphasis on identifying and implementing solutions to recurring equipment issues.
– Assisting Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) technicians and mechanics as needed.
– Recognizing when to seek engineering or vendor assistance and maintaining open communication with relevant personnel to enhance problem-solving efficiency and work scheduling.
– Conducting necessary housekeeping duties, including cleaning the work area upon job completion.
– Gaining familiarity with product, steam, and airflow systems throughout the area.
– Executing Lock Out Tag Out procedures and managing work permits for all maintenance activities within the designated area.
