As an Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in implementing KinderCare’s curriculum and State Pre-K requirements, while tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each child; creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages play and learning.
- Collaborating with parents to ensure the best care and education for their children.
- Contributing to the success of your center by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
- Building positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Compliance with state-specific Pre-K guidelines for the role.
- Physical capability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work effectively both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to assume postures that allow for physical and visual contact with children, along with sufficient sight and hearing to ensure their safety and engage in physical activities.
