The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Servers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. In the role of Server, you will represent our restaurant and embody the standard of exceptional service for our guests. What will you do?
– Greet guests warmly, attend to their needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials clearly, answer menu inquiries, and collect food and beverage orders.
– Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, strictly adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
– Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver checks to guests.
– Collaborate effectively with fellow servers, kitchen, and bar staff.
– Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties as assigned, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functional.
More about you
– Previous experience in cash handling and credit card processing is required.
– At least one year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment is preferred, along with familiarity with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality context.
Physical requirements
– Ability to lift 35 lbs and remain standing, walking, or bending for extended periods, which may include navigating stairs.
