Job Description
Job Title: Prep Cook – Big E’s EBL
Company: Suburban Inns
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $14 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14 to $16 for a Prep Cook position at Big E’s EBL in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally competitive but slightly below the national average for similar roles. As of 2023, the typical wage for prep cooks in Michigan ranges from approximately $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and location. While the proposed wage may attract candidates seeking entry-level opportunities or those with less experience, it may not be sufficient to retain more skilled workers or those with prior experience in a competitive labor market. Additionally, considering the rising cost of living and inflation, the pay might not fully align with industry standards, potentially affecting employee attraction and retention.
