Job Title: Prep Cook / BOH Event Catering

Company: Catered Creations, Inc.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $17 – 20 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 – $20 for a “Prep Cook / BOH Event Catering” position in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally competitive but on the lower end of the spectrum for the role. Nationally, prep cooks typically earn between $14 and $22 per hour, depending on experience and location, with many urban areas seeing rates above $20 due to labor shortages and rising living costs. In Grand Rapids, where the cost of living is moderate, this rate may attract entry-level candidates but could struggle to retain experienced workers. Overall, while the offered pay is within a reasonable range, it may need adjustment to align more closely with industry demands and to attract top talent.
