Key Responsibilities as a Line Cook at SSP America include:
– Adhering to all recipes and practicing portion control to effectively prepare, garnish, and present menu items as ordered.
– Ensuring the kitchen and stations are properly set up and maintained on a daily basis.
– Requisitioning and stocking all necessary food supplies, paper products, and condiments.
– Properly handling, storing, and rotating all products to maintain freshness and quality.
– Managing the setup, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of all kitchen machinery and equipment.
– Responsible for daily stock management, cutting, and storage of perishables to ensure optimal product quality.
– Completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
– Taking ownership of the quality of the products served.
– Performing general and specialized cleaning tasks with standard cleaning products, following supervisor assignments to meet health standards.
– Executing additional duties as assigned.
