SUMMARY OF POSITION
As a Prep Cook, you will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen setting, playing a key role in ensuring that your team has the necessary ingredients and products to deliver high-quality meals to our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare cooking items in accordance with established recipes and procedures.
  • Utilize, maintain, and clean all kitchen equipment, as well as preparation and storage areas.
  • Stock and rotate products on the line to meet shelf-life standards.
  • Accurately portion food products and ensure they are prepared according to specifications.
  • Apply FIFO (first in, first out) standards during food preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including prep areas, coolers, and storage spaces.
  • Collaborate with the dishwasher to wash and restock dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a prep cook is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
