Job Description
Job Title: Private Duty Caregiver
Company: Homestead
Location: Novi, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $17 for a Private Duty Caregiver in Novi, MI, is generally considered below the competitive range for this role. As of 2023, rates for caregivers typically vary between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specific needs of clients. In Michigan, the demand for caregivers continues to rise due to an aging population, which often drives wages upward. Therefore, while $17 may be acceptable for entry-level positions or less experienced caregivers, it may not attract skilled professionals or retain quality staff in the current job market.
