Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold the quality and safety systems effectively.
- Oversee the manufacturing of liquid nutritional products for adults, children, and medical needs, including the physical handling of raw ingredients during weights, staging, and production processes. This includes operating scales, pumps, container rinsers, and homogenizers.
- Execute cleaning procedures, including clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) systems, alongside routine housekeeping tasks.
- Engage with integrated computer systems for documentation and operational procedures to maintain compliance with work orders.
- Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurry blending operations and various heat treatment processes.
- Manage the receipt and unloading of bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies.
Shift:
- 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7:30 AM
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements
- Competence in reading work order documents, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and operating powered industrial vehicles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a plant production environment, particularly within the drug, food, or beverage manufacturing sectors.
