We are seeking skilled furniture assemblers to perform assembly duties in customers’ homes and visit retail locations of this esteemed brand once every three weeks. Delivering an exceptional showroom experience is crucial for driving additional assembly orders, and cultivating a strong relationship with the store manager will be instrumental in expanding your hours within the market. Proficiency in cross-selling will be essential for achieving success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute in-home assembly assignments with precision
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of completed work
  • Perform furniture repairs as needed
  • Assemble Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) furniture
  • Assemble grills and exercise equipment, among other products
  • Take inventory and identify any missing items from the sales floor
  • Anchor displays to ensure customer safety
  • Make minor assembly repairs to furniture
  • Clean and vacuum furniture pads
  • Report your activities via phone, tablet, or computer
  • Foster and maintain relationships with store managers

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to commute 30–60 miles to multiple locations daily, depending on the market
  • A basic tool set may be required in specific markets
  • Strong communication skills are crucial for effective interactions with customers, team members, and management (enhanced communication leads to increased shift opportunities)
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
