Are you ready to assist one of the nation’s leading office supply brands? We are seeking skilled furniture assemblers to construct products in customers’ homes and provide service to this well-known retail chain’s locations on a rotation of once every three weeks. Delivering an exceptional showroom experience is essential for generating increased assembly orders, and fostering a strong relationship with the store manager will be crucial for expanding your opportunities within the market. Robust cross-selling abilities will greatly contribute to your success in this position.

Responsibilities:
– Execute in-home assembly assignments
– Timely and accurate reporting of completed work
– Perform furniture repairs
– Assemble Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) furniture
– Assemble grills
– Assemble exercise equipment and more
– Take inventory and identify missing items from sales floors
– Securely anchor displays to ensure customer safety
– Conduct minor assembly repairs to furniture
– Clean and vacuum furniture pads
– Assemble RTA furniture for display areas
– Report work via phone, tablet, or computer
– Build and maintain relationships with store managers

Requirements:
– Reliable transportation to travel 30–60 miles to various locations daily (dependent on the market)
– Basic tool set may be required in certain markets
– Strong communication skills with customers, team members, and management, as effective communication leads to more available shifts
– Capacity to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day
– Flexible schedule, including availability between 8 AM and 5 PM, with occasional weekends and evenings as necessary
– Ability to read and follow diagrams or instructions and proficiently use hand and power tools
– Must be at least 18 years of age
