Job description:

We are seeking a part-time associate to sample products for suppliers at a Sam’s Club location. As a Product Demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through engaging product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Engage customers to effectively communicate key product information.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during sample preparation, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for featured products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (18 years for alcohol and production roles).
• Weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) is preferred; holiday and weekday shifts are also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
• Capability to stand for the duration of events.

We welcome candidates without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, individuals returning to the workforce, and veterans. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided to facilitate a swift onboarding process.

Work Environment:
You will encounter moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse setting, alongside some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
