Job description:
This part-time associate position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. As a Product Demonstrator, you will introduce customers to innovative and exciting items through product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
The key responsibilities for this role include engaging with customers to effectively communicate essential product information, ensuring adherence to food safety standards during the preparation of samples (including cooking, processing, plating, and serving), and collaborating with the team to reach sales goals for the featured products.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol-related positions). Availability on weekends (Friday to Sunday) is preferred, although weekday and holiday shifts are available. Applicants should have reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays, along with the ability to safely operate kitchen appliances (such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates). The role requires the capacity to stand for the duration of the event.
