Job description:
This part-time associate position involves sampling products for suppliers at a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a vital role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
Responsibilities include engaging customers to communicate key product features, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations during the preparation of samples (including cooking, processing, plating, and serving), and collaborating with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.
Qualifications for this role are as follows: candidates must be at least 16 years old (with alcohol and production roles requiring candidates to be 18+). Preference is given to those available on weekends (Friday through Sunday), though holiday and weekday shifts are also available. A reliable smartphone or tablet is required on workdays, as is the ability to safely utilize appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates. Candidates should be able to stand for the duration of the event.
