Job description:

This part-time associate position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a crucial role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is beneficial, it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Engage customers in discussions to communicate key attributes of the products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations while preparing samples, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets for the products.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age (positions involving alcohol and production require candidates to be 18 or older).
• Availability for shifts primarily on weekends (Friday to Sunday) is preferred, though holiday and weekday work options are available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet during work hours.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
• Capability to stand for the duration of the event.
