Job description:

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers in a Sam’s Club location, where Product Demonstrators play a vital role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, or acting as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by effectively communicating essential information about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards during the preparation of samples, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals for featured products.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age (18 years or older for Alcohol and Production roles).
• Availability during weekends (Friday through Sunday) is preferred; holiday and weekday shifts are also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays is necessary.
• Capable of safely using appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event to effectively present products.
