Job description:
This part-time position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a vital role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite.
Responsibilities include engaging customers to effectively communicate key product information and ensuring compliance with food safety standards while preparing samples (including cooking, processing, plating, and serving). You will collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for the featured products.
Qualifications for this role include being at least 16 years of age (or 18+ for positions involving alcohol and production). Preference will be given to candidates available on weekends (Friday through Sunday), although holiday and weekday shifts may also be available. Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays is required, along with the capability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates. Additionally, candidates should be able to stand for the duration of the event.
