This part-time position involves sampling products on behalf of suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. As a Product Demonstrator, you will introduce customers to innovative and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers by effectively communicating key product information.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, and serving).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales objectives for featured products.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for positions involving alcohol and production).
- Preferably available to work on weekends (Friday to Sunday), with additional opportunities on holidays and weekdays.
- Have reliable access to a smartphone or tablet during work shifts.
- Capable of safely operating appliances such as a microwave, toaster oven, or hot plate.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
