Fox Motors is seeking a dedicated Sales Consultant to join our team at Fox Acura in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fulfilling our mission: “Working together moving people throughout life.” Your focus will be on building trust and rapport with our customers to foster long-lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Consultant, you will hold a position of trust, responsible for delivering exceptional purchasing experiences. Your duties will include engaging with customers, utilizing dealership systems for follow-ups, and providing the highest standards of customer service to foster long-term business growth. Fox Motors is searching for a Sales Consultant with a competitive spirit, ambition for career development, and a flair for innovation within a dynamic sales environment. Previous automotive sales experience is not required; we welcome individuals with backgrounds in bartending, personal training, or hospitality to embark on their sales careers with us. Comprehensive training will be provided during the first 60 days of this full-time position.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming customers as they enter the dealership showroom or sales lot and offering assistance.
  • Staying informed on the latest product information to maintain a high level of vehicle knowledge.
  • Providing customers with detailed specifications (performance, safety, benefits, etc.) about all vehicles.
  • Conducting professional demonstrations of vehicle features.
  • Utilizing dealership systems for effective pre- and post-sale follow-up to build and maintain a client database.
  • Keeping abreast of vehicle values, equity, finance products, and Fox programs.
  • Ensuring adherence to Fox processes during vehicle delivery.
  • Introducing customers to the various points of interest within the dealership.
  • Assisting in showroom preparation, ensuring an appealing selection of vehicles and a welcoming presentation for customers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in customer service and a proven ability to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • A team-oriented attitude coupled with a high-energy personality.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
  • Eagerness to quickly learn new products.
  • A valid driver’s license.
