Fox Motors is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at Fox Acura in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will play a vital part in realizing our vision of "Working together moving people throughout life" by fostering trust with our customers and cultivating lasting relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Consultant is entrusted with delivering exceptional purchasing experiences. You will engage and consult with customers, utilize dealership systems for follow-up, and provide the highest level of customer service to foster long-term business relationships. We welcome competitive, career-driven individuals who possess a spirit of innovation in a dynamic sales environment. Previous automotive sales experience is not required; candidates with backgrounds in bartending, personal training, or the hospitality industry are encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Approaching, greeting, and assisting customers as they enter the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Staying current on the latest product information to maintain a high standard of vehicle knowledge.
  • Providing customers with detailed specifications (performance, safety, benefits, etc.) about all vehicles.
  • Conducting high-quality and professional demonstrations of vehicle features.
  • Utilizing dealership systems to complete pre- and post-sale follow-up, building and maintaining a client database.
  • Maintaining an understanding of vehicle values, finance products, and Fox programs.
  • Adhering to Fox processes for vehicle delivery.
  • Introducing customers to the various points of interest within the dealership.
  • Assisting with showroom preparation to ensure a well-curated selection of vehicles and a presentable environment for customers.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in customer service with a commitment to providing an exceptional experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • A team-oriented attitude paired with a high-energy personality.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Eagerness to learn about new products.
  • A valid driver’s license.
