Fox Motors is seeking a Sales Consultant for our Southfield, MI location at Fox Southfield CDJR. In this key role, you will contribute to our overarching vision of "Working together moving people throughout life" by fostering trust with our customers to cultivate enduring relationships.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Consultant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional purchase experiences. You will engage with customers, leverage dealership systems for follow-up, and provide superior customer service to establish a solid foundation for repeat business. Fox Motors seeks individuals who are competitive, career-oriented, and possess a desire to innovate within a professional and dynamic sales environment. Previous automotive sales experience is not required; we welcome candidates with backgrounds in bartending, personal training, or hospitality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Approaching, greeting, and assisting customers who visit the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Staying informed about the latest product offerings to ensure a high standard of vehicle knowledge.
  • Providing customers with detailed specifications (performance, safety, benefits, etc.) regarding all vehicles.
  • Conducting high-quality and professional demonstrations of vehicle features.
  • Utilizing dealership systems for pre and post-sale follow-up to build and maintain a client database.
  • Maintaining knowledge of vehicle values, equity, finance products, and Fox programs.
  • Adhering to Fox processes for vehicle delivery.
  • Introducing customers to various points of interest within the dealership.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the showroom to ensure a strong selection of vehicles is available and that the environment remains welcoming for customers.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles providing an exceptional experience.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset complemented by a high-energy personality.
  • Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Willingness to quickly learn about new products.
  • A valid driver’s license.
